Gold Price up by Rs.300 to Settle at Rs. 219,600 per Tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: After a decline of Rs 500 last Saturday, the per tola price of the 24 karats of gold witnessed an increase by Rs.300 to settle at Rs. 219,600 in Pakistan on Tuesday compared to Rs.219,300 on the previous working day. 

Meanwhile, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for the 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal received the same treatment and went up by Rs. 258 to reach at Rs.188,272 from its previous day price of Rs. 188,014 while the price of 10 grams of 22 karats of the yellow metal increased to Rs. 172,582 from its previous day rates of Rs.172,347. 

However, like the last couple of days, the price of per tola and ten grams of white plate (Silver) remained constant at Rs. 2,650 and Rs.2,271.94, respectively. 

Gold Price in International Market

Unlike the local bullion market, the price of the precious metal in the international market observed no change and remained constant at $2,072.

The international rates mostly influence the price of the yellow metal in the local bullion market. The last couple of days witnessed a slight increase in the price of the yellow metal in the international market, affecting the local gold market.
