Gold Price Turns Bearish, Down by Rs 1,200 to Settle at Rs 214,100 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD: After a continues increase by over Rs3500 for the last four days, the price of per tola 24 karats of gold finally went down and decreased by Rs 1,200 on Friday to settle at Rs 214,100 compared to the last day stand of Rs 215,300.

Meanwhile, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for the 10 grams of 24 karats of the yellow metal also went down by Rs 1,029 to settle at Rs 183,556 from the previous day rates of Rs 184,585 whereas the prices of 10 grams of 22 karats of the yellow plate decreased to Rs 168,260 from Rs 169,203.

However, the price of per tola and ten-grams of the white plate (silver) remained constant at Rs 2,570 and Rs 2,203.36 respectively.

Gold Price in International Market

Like the local bullion market, the rates of the yellow metal in the international market also wend down by $11 to settle at $2,040 per ounce from the last day price of $2,051 per ounce.

Recently, observing a significant decrease by over $35 in the first and 2nd week of February, the price of gold in the international market went up by over $20 per ounce during the last few days. The Price for the yellow plate in the local bullion market mostly affected by the rates in the international market.
