ISLAMABAD: Having a downfall of Rs 10,000 in last two days, the gold rates in Pakistan jumped up once again on Saturday in line with an increase in the international market. As per information received from All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association the price of 24 karats of gold witnessed an increase of Rs 3,200 per tola and was available at Rs 2,34,000 as compared to Rs 2,30,000 on Friday. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 24 karats of gold was increased by Rs2,743 to reach Rs200,617. Last Wednesday, the gold price in the local market hit a historic high of Rs 2,40,000 per tola, followed by a decline in the next two days.
Gold Price in International Market.
Like local market, the international market also witnessed an increase in the prices of the precious metal. On Friday, the international market also witnessed an increase; however, due to the appreciation of the Pakistani rupee on Friday, the gold rates went down. On Saturday, the gold prices experienced an increase of $5 to settle at $2,010 per ounce.
Due to ongoing financial and political unrest, prices of the yellow plate would be fluctuated with more tendency of high prices as the investors are still decline towards the precious metal due to uncertainity in other sectors.
