ISLAMABAD: After a major increase of Rs2900 last day, the per tola price of the 24 karats of gold in Pakistan remained largely stable with a slight decrease of Rs50 on Friday to settle at Rs211,300.
Meanwhile, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal also observed a mild decrease of Rs42 to settle at Rs181,156.
However, the per tola price for the white plate (Silver) remained constant, without a change, and closed at Rs2,550.
Gold Price in International Market
Like the local market, the price of the yellow metal In the international market also witnessed a slight decline of $3 to settle at $1,987 per ounce as compared to its last-day price of $1,990 per ounce the previous day.
The continued increase in the price of gold in the international market during the last couple of weeks is attributed to the Israel-Hamas conflict, which also affected the price in the local bullion market.
