ISLAMABAD: After continued fluctuation in Pakistan for the last couple of days, the per tola price of 24 karats of gold remained unchanged at Rs.222,200 on Tuesday.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 and 22 karats of gold also witnessed no change and was settled at Rs.190,501 and Rs.174,626, respectively.
Meanwhile, the price of per tola and ten-gram white plate (silver) also remained unchanged at Rs2,800 and Rs2,400.54, respectively.
Gold Price in International Market
Unlike the local market, the price of the precious metal in the international market went down by $9 to $1,950 per ounce compared to $1,959 last day.
Gold prices remained volatile both in local and international markets for the last couple of months. In the local market, the price of the yellow plate reached its highest ever rate at Rs 2,40,000 per tola in May 2023, that later came down to Rs 2.04500 in mid-July.
