ISLAMABAD: After a slight decrease of Rs200 last day, the price of per tola 24 karats of gold increased by Rs2,200 in the local market on Friday to settle at Rs208,500 Per Tola. On Wednesday price of the precious metal also went up by over Rs600. Both time price in the international market were also increased.
Meanwhile, as reported by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), price of the 10 grams of 24 karats of gold also went up and was available at Rs178,755 in the market.
Meanwhile, the per tola price for the white gold (Silver) remained unchanged to settle at Rs2,550.
Gold Price in International Market
Like the local market, price of the precious metal in the international market also went up and witnessed an increase by $27 to settle at $1,999 in the international. Last day price of the yellow metal in the international market also went up by $13. The continues increase in price in the international market is influencing the local bullion market.
In addition, the increase in the price in the international market is also attributed to the recent escalating Israel-Hamas conflict that drew the investors to focus on investing in gold.
