ISLAMABAD: The per Tola price of 24 karat gold went up by Rs1,500 to Rs213,300 on Thursday as compared to its sale at 211,800 rupees on the last trading day.
The price of ten grams of 24 karat gold also surged by Rs1,286 to Rs182,870 from Rs181,584 whereas the price of ten gram 22 karat gold increased to 167,631 rupees from 166,452 rupees, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association said.
The price of per tola silver, another precious metal, increased by Rs30 to 2,580 rupees whereas that of ten grams Silver went up by 25.72 rupees to 2,211.93 rupees.
Gold price in international market
The price of gold in the international market surged by 9 dollars to 1,005 dollars from $1,996, the Association added.
