ISLAMABAD: The per tola price of 24 karat of gold went up by Rs2,800 and was available in the market at Rs.225,600 on Monday compared to its last day sale at Rs. 223,800.
Meanwhile, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal also increased by Rs 2,143 to stand at Rs193,158 from its last day rate at Rs. 191,015 whereas the price of 10 grams of 22 karats of gold increased to Rs 177,062 from Rs. 175,097.
However, the price per tola and ten-gram white plate (silver) remained constant and settled at Rs 2750 and Rs 2357.68, respectively.
Gold Price in International Market
Like the local market, the price of the yellow plate in the international market recorded an increase of $3 to settle at $1,965 per ounce compared to $1962 last day. Recent days observed a sharp increase in the price of gold in the international market, influencing the price of gold in the local market.
