Unlike local market, the price of the yellow plate in the international market went down by $5 to $1,889 per ounce from its last day price of $1,894, the association reported.

Fluctuation in God Price

The local market remained highly volatile due to recent economic and political unrest. As a result, the price of the precious metal went to its highest ever at Rs 240,000 per tola on May 10, 2023. However, from the first week of June, the price declined, reaching Rs 204,500 per tola in the middle of July. The recent devaluation of the local currency has led to an increase in the price of the precious metal.
