Fluctuation in Gold Price in Local Market

It is worth noting that the local bullion market, after reaching a record high of Rs 2,40,000 in May turned back in the subsequent days, particularly in June. The last few days in June experienced a total decline of more than Rs 14,000 in the price of gold in the local market. Some days even witnessed a decline, despite the increase in the international market. However on Monday despite a decrease in the international market, the price of gold went up, which might be due to the meager depreciation of local currency against the US dollar.
