ISLAMABAD: After an increase of Rs 300 last day, the per tola price of 24 karats of gold bounced back to the price of Monday in Pakistan, as on Wednesday it went down by Rs.300 to settle at Rs. 216,100 compared to Rs.216,400 last day.
Meanwhile, as reported by All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 karats of the yellow plate went down by Rs. 257 to settle at Rs. 185,271 against the last day rates of Rs.185,528 whereas the rates from the 10 grams of 22 karats of the precious metal decreased to Rs.169,832 its last day price of Rs.170,067.
Unlike the last day’s constant price, the per tola and 10 grams of silver rates went down by Rs.10 and Rs 8.58 to settle at Rs.2,650 and Rs.2,271.94, respectively.
However, like the local bullion market, the rates for the yellow metal in the international market went down by $3 to settle at $2,047 per ounce from its last-day price of $.2,050 per ounce.
Fluctuating Price of Gold
The price for the yellow metal in the local bullion market is usually affected by the rates in the international market. The last couple of days (except last Saturday and Tuesday) witnessed a significant decrease in the price of the yellow plate in the international market, affecting the domestic gold market.
