Like the local bullion market, the rates for the precious metal in the international market also witnessed a decline and went down by $6 to settle at $2,018 per ounce from its previous rates of $.2,024 per ounce.

The price of yellow metal in the local market is mostly influenced by the price in the international market and sometimes due to the depreciation of the local currency. The last couple of days witnessed a slight decrease of US currency against Pakistani rupee, affecting the local bullion market.
