Gold Price Down by Rs.1,100 to Settle at Rs 214,800 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD: After an increase of Rs800 during the last two days, the Price per tola 24 karats was turned down and decreased by Rs1,100 to settle at Rs 214,800 on Wednesday against the last ay price of Rs 215,900. 

Meanwhile, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for the 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal also went down by Rs944 to close at Rs184,156 against the previous day’s stand of Rs185,100 whereas the rates for the 10 grams of 22 karats of the yellow plate decreased to Rs168,810 from the previous day price of Rs169,674, 

However, the Price per tola and ten grams of the white gold (silver) observed no change and remained constant at Rs2,570 and Rs2,203.36, respectively.

Gold Price in International Market

Like the local bullion market, the rates for the precious metal in the international market also witnessed a downward trend and went down by $08 to settle at $2,048 per ounce compared to the last-day price of $2,056 per ounce.

Observing a significant decline of over $35 in the first and 2nd week of February, the Price of gold in the international market witnessed an appreciation of over $20 per ounce during the last few days. The Price for yellow metal in the local gold market is mostly affected by the rates in the international market.
