Gold Price Decreases Slightly by Rs 300 After Continues Surge Recently

ISLAMABAD: The per tola price of 24 karats of gold witnessed a mild decrease by Rs 300 and was sold at Rs 225,000 on Friday as compared to Rs 225,300 on Thursday, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24 karats of gold also decreased by Rs 257 to Rs 192,901 from Rs 193,158, while the price of 10 grams of 22 karats of gold was declined to Rs 176,826 from Rs 177,062.

The price per tola of silver witnessed an increase by Rs 80 to close at Rs 2950, and that of ten grams of silver went up by Rs 68.58 to close at Rs 2529.14.

Gold Price in International Market

The gold prices in the international market also went down by $ 8 to close at $2036 compared to its sale of $2044, the association reported.

Gold prices in Pakistan went up to more than Rs 20,000 per tola during the last couple of weeks due to the devaluation of the Pakistani rupee and the interest of the investors in the yellow plate.
