NAWABSHAH: General Officer Commanding (GOC) Major General Dilawar Khan visited Nawabshah to see victims of the Hazara Express tragedy, which occurred near the Sahrai area of Nawabshah.
Talking to the journalists, he said that Pak Army stood with people in every tough time, and the train accident was very tragic.
Rescue Operations After Train Accident
He said that Pak Army engaged itself in rescue activities with all strength that was its prime duty.
GOC further said that after hearing about the train accident, soldiers rushed to the site and worked side by side with other rescue teams.
He said that standby helicopters were ready to carry any critical wounded while Rescue 1122 and other institutions worked hard for a timely operation.
He added that three critical operations were conducted to save the lives of wounded persons.
