BERLIN: German defense minister Christine Lambrecht has said that they will not buy any more Puma tanks until they have proven themselves to be reliable.
The minister said that the recent failures of tanks are a key setback, adding that a request has been made to issue a report on the matter by next week. Reports suggest that the shares of the company were down by 7% following the announcement of the German minister.

Lambrecht said that their forces must be able to rely on weapons being stable in combat. The German defense ministry added the goal is to make the Puma operational soon.

Meanwhile, the German military would use Marder tanks from January. 1, a spokesperson of the defense ministry called it a solution.
