FRANKFURT: German police on Wednesday launched raids across the country and arrested 25 members of a far-right terror group accused of planning an attack on parliament.
According to federal prosecutors, over 3,000 officers including elite anti-terror units took part in raids, carried out early morning. They searched more than 130 properties in one of the biggest searches in the history of Germany.

The prosecutors said that the assault were carried out against Citizens of the Reich group accused of planning an attack with a little armed group.

The arrested are accused of having formed a terror outfit by the end of November last year at the least which aimed at the existing state order in the country and replace it with its own kind of state.
Two arrests were made in Austria and Italy.
