ISLAMABAD/MAKKAH: The Department of Languages and Translation Guidance and Counselling, associated to General Presidency for Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques announced on Sunday that it had translated lessons into 14 international languages including Chinese as part of its future plans for the mechanism of lessons in the Grand Mosque.

Talking to the media, the head of the Department Saleh Al-Rashedi said that the department did a lot of work and translated lessons into many languages, including Chinese. He said that they translate lessons into 14 international languages to enrich the journey of non-Arabic speaking people to the Grand Mosque.
The director said that the languages used in translating lessons are (Urdu, English, Hausa, French, Tariq, Malay, Tamil, Hindi, Indonesian, Bengali, Borneo, Persian, and Chinese). He added that the number of beneficiaries during Jumada al-Awwal 1444 Hijri exceeds seven thousand, emphasizing that this service can be utilized in the field through the simultaneous translation of lessons.
