LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the significance of the upcoming general elections 2024, labeling them as the most crucial in Pakistan’s history. He said that PMLN would emerge victorious in the elections under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, eyeing a record fourth term as prime minister.
Highlighting achievements during the last Nawaz government, Shehbaz credited the restoration of peace in Karachi and ending loadshedding in the country. He also counted Nawaz’s efforts in addressing terrorism and the noteworthy development projects undertaken during that period across Pakistan.
Speaking at the parliamentary board meeting at the party’s Model Town headquarters, Shehbaz stressed the essential link between political stability and national development. He acknowledged the rejuvenation of the party following Nawaz’s return, responding to demands from senior leaders and grassroots supporters, particularly in light of the coalition government’s lackluster performance.
