ISLAMABAD: General Sahir Shamshad Mirza has assumed responsibility as the new Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.
According to ISPR, the change of command ceremony was held at Joint Staff Headquarters and was attended by the military leadership and retired officers of armed forces.
A smartly turned-out tri-services contingent presented Guard of Honour to the CJCSC. He reviewed the Guard of Honour and March past. The ceremony was also attended by the outgoing Chairman JCSC General Nadeem Raza.
