RIYADH: The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi discussed in a telephone call on Tuesday with NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg the latest developments in Gaza, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. According to the SPA, they also discussed for strengthening cooperation between the GCC and NATO.
The GCC chief said he also discussed a range of regional and international issues during the telephone call, especially the latest developments in Gaza and gave explanations to the NATO chief regarding the GCC’s perspective on this issue, especially the extremely risky consequences caused by the grave and serious Israeli violations against the people of Palestine in Gaza, which have exponential consequences on the security at the regional level.

He further said that he explained to Stoltenberg the importance of ramping up pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop this butchery against the innocent civilian people in the Gaza Strip, as well as the immediate truce and permit getting all humanitarian and relief help urgently into the Gaza to save the Palestinians.
