MUSCAT: Ministers of Social Development Affairs from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states gathered in Muscat for the ninth ministerial meeting, with the primary agenda of formulating a cohesive development strategy aimed at preserving the intrinsic values, family unity, and solidarity within GCC societies.
The meeting witnessed the participation of Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, who joined his counterparts from across the region to discuss critical issues related to social development and harmony.
This ministerial summit emphasized the necessity of devising a unified policy that would reinforce the cohesiveness and stability of Gulf societies while concurrently enhancing the principles of nationality and strengthening Arab and Islamic identities.
