NEW YORK: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi has met with Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Abbas Araghchi, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
The two officials reviewed the GCC-Iran ties and ways to boost them as well as the security and stability of the region.
They also discussed the latest regional and international developments and retreated the need for stability and security in the region and beyond.
