RIYADH: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi has strongly denounced the brutal bombing by the Israeli occupation forces of the Al-Fakhura school in Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday. The school shelters thousands of displaced people in the Gaza Strip.

According to the SPA, Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi condemned the repeated and current brutal strikes by Israel on hospitals and refugee camps in Gaza, in a clear and direct violation by the Israeli occupation of global humanitarian law, reiterating the Gulf Cooperation Council’s firm stance calling for an urgent end to the aggression on Gaza, and providing protection for Palestinian people and global institutions that provide help and basic services to citizens.
The Secretary General called on the world to immediately fulfill its duties to stop the brutal Israeli action and work towards a political settlement to the crisis, the SPA further said.
