RIYADH: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi has strongly denounced the storming of Jenin camp by Israeli troops and the deaths of six innocent Palestinians, Arab media reported on Tuesday.
GCC Chief Condemns Israeli Raid on Jenin
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Secretary General offered his sincere condolences to the families of victims and wished wounded a speedy recovery. He said that the international community should act rapidly to put an end to Israel’s organized assaults on the Palestinian people, which are a blatant violation of international law and norms.
He further said that Palestinian people need safety, and that all must support efforts to find a resolution to the Middle East peace process that ensures security, stability and peace in the region.
