GB Freelancers Association Concluded Four-Day Bootcamp

GIlGIT: The GB Freelancers Association successfully concluded its “GBFA Freelancing Bootcamp Baltistan” at the Government Girls Inter College Khaplu in the Ghanche district of the Baltistan region.

This four-day event was held in collaboration with The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) Pakistan and with technical support from the Special Communication Organization and NEEDS Online. It saw the participation of a total of 840 youths, professionals, and college, and university students from districts Skardu, Shigar, Kharmang, and Ghanche.

The closing day of the boot camp witnessed enthusiastic involvement from over 200 youths and college students. Renowned freelancers and mentors from GBFA shared crucial insights and skills with participants, covering topics ranging from freelancing basics to niche analysis, profile optimization, client communication, and protection against online scams.

During the event, GBFA President Ghulam Rehman expressed gratitude to AKRSP for their invaluable support in youth development and skill enhancement projects in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral.

Dr. Sna Ullah, Area Manager of AKRSP, praised GBFA’s initiatives in empowering youth throughout Gilgit-Baltistan and highlighted AKRSP’s efforts in promoting youth empowerment and entrepreneurship in the Ghanche district.
