GAZA CITY: More than 400 innocent Palestinian civilians, including 182 children, have been martyred during the past 24 hours as the relentless Israeli bombardment of Gaza has intensified, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said. The latest air strikes have left entire neighborhoods in ruins, with horrifying reports indicating that over 1,500 people, including 830 children, are still trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.

Medical sources confirmed that most of the casualties were women, children, and the elderly, constituting 70 percent of the death toll, TRT World reported. The attacks were concentrated in several areas, including Jabalya and Beit Lahiya in the north, Al Gusta and Al Rimal neighborhoods, and Al Shati refugee camp in the west, as well as Khan Younis and Rafah in the south of Gaza.

Among the disturbing incidents, six people were killed, and 11 others were injured in the Israeli air strike on the house in Rafah. Another tragic incident unfolded in the house of the Abu Habis family in Al Sarara, claiming five lives, while several were injured in a strike on the Al Zitani family’s home in the Al Amal neighborhood.

Israeli Onslaught Spares No Part of Gaza

The Israeli onslaught spared no part of Gaza, targeting houses in Al Maghraqa, the Zawayda area, and the Albanian mosque in the Jabaliya camp, causing extensive destruction and numerous casualties. Additionally, multiple attacks were reported near crucial medical facilities, including Al Shifa Medical Complex in central Gaza and Al Quds Hospital in the Tel al Hawa neighborhood, raising concerns about the safety of patients and medical staff.

The Palestinian Health Ministry declared that the total death toll from the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on Gaza has tragically reached 5,087. This staggering number includes 2,055 children, 1,119 women, and 217 elders. Additionally, 15,273 people have been injured in the relentless Israeli attacks, leaving the Gaza Strip in a state of devastation and mourning.

Gaza is in dire need of immediate assistance, including medical aid, humanitarian support, and urgent efforts to ensure the safe rescue of those still trapped under the rubble.
