ISLAMABAD: Murree, Galyat, and Thandyani received more snow in the recent spell, whereas some areas in Nathiagami have received about 8 inches of snow from Sunday to Monday.
According to Galyat Development Authority (GDA), spokesperson, and local reports, both Nathiagali and Thandyani took a white blanket on Monday morning after a continuous snowfall of 6 hours, taking the temperature further down.
Snow in Galyat and Murree
According to the local administration in Nathiagali and Murree, the rescue and relief teams have cleared the road between the two tourist destinations with the help of snow-clearing machinery, enabling the road open for all sorts of vehicular traffic.
Meanwhile, Rescue officials also remained busy clearing vehicles trapped in snow-covered roads.
The Met department has predicted clear weather in Galyat, Murree and the upper parts of the Hazara division during the next 24 hours.
