Funeral Prayers Offered for Three Pakistani Soldiers Martyred in Lakki Marwat

RAWALPINDI: The funeral prayers for Naib Subedar Taj Mir, Havaldar Zakir Ahmed, and Sepoy Abid Hussain, who were martyred in a battle with terrorists in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, were offered in their respective hometowns on Saturday.

The brave soldiers were laid to rest with full military honours, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated.

The martyred soldiers hailed from different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Naib Subedar Taj Mir was from Nowshera, Havaldar Zakir Ahmed was from Abbottabad, and Sepoy Abid Hussain was from D.I. Khan. A large number of military and civil officials, as well as members of the public, attended the funeral prayers.

The soldiers were praised for their bravery and gallantry in the fight against terrorism. Their sacrifices will strengthen the resolve of the Pakistani armed forces in their efforts to eliminate the threat of terrorism from the country.
