RAWALPINDI: Funeral prayers for martyred soldiers who embraced martyrdom during a gunfight with terrorists in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan were offered at the South Waziristan district headquarters Wana on Tuesday.
The martyred soldiers were laid to rest in their respective hometowns with full military honors, as stated in a press release by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The funeral prayers were attended by the Corps Commander Peshawar and other senior officers currently in service.

“The Armed Forces of Pakistan remain unwavering and dedicated to eradicating the threat of terrorism from our homeland, no matter the cost,” affirmed the ISPR.
It is pertinent to mention here that earlier today, at least six Pakistan Army soldiers embraced Shahadat in a fire exchange with terrorists in the general area of Asman Manza, South Waziristan district. The security forces promptly retaliated ad killed four terrorists and injured two others.
