RAWALPINDI: Pakistan military officials said that funeral prayers of the 6 soldiers of the Army, who embraced martyrdom on Thursday during an intense exchange of fire between the troops and terrorists in North Waziristan, were initially offered at Bannu and later at their respective hometowns.
ISPR said that these soldiers include Havaldar Saleem Khan, Naik Javed Iqbal, Sepoy Hazrat Bilal, Sepoy Nazir Khan, Sepoy Bismillah Jan and Sepoy Syed Rajab Hussain. The martyrs were laid to rest with full military honours, ISPR added.

A large number of senior military officials, soldiers, civil officials, people and relatives of Shaheeds attended the funeral prayers, ISPR maintained.
Security Forces of Pakistan are determined to eradicate terrorism and the sacrifices of “our brave soldiers further strengthen our determination”.
