RAWALPINDI: Funeral prayers of the two soldiers of the Pakistan Army, who embraced martyrdom while thwarting Gwadar Port Authority Colony terrorist attack on Wednesday, were offered in Gwadar, the military’s media wing said in a statement on Thursday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two brave soldiers; Sepoy Bahar Khan (age: 35 years, resident of District DG Khan) and Sepoy Imran Ali (age: 28 years, resident of District Khairpur) having fought gallantly, sacrificed their lives and embraced Shahadat.
The representatives of Pakistan Army, Navy, Balochistan Police and civil society attended the funerals, the ISPR said.
The ISPR added that the bodies of the martyred have been taken to their native home towns where they will be laid to rest with full military honour.
It added Pakistan Armed Forces are standing with the nation and expressed resolve to thwart attempts of terrorism and sabotaging peace and stability of Balochistan. The ISPR said, “The sacrifices of our brave sons to eliminate the menace terrorism further strengthen our resolve.”
