Funeral Prayers of Martyred Rangers Official Offered

KARACHI: The funeral prayer of the martyred officer of Pakistan Rangers Sindh Sub-Inspector Taimoor Shehzad was offered on Saturday at the Pakistan Rangers Sindh Jinnah Courts Headquarters building.

Taimoor embraced martyrdom while participating in an operation against terrorists who attacked the Karachi Police Office late Friday.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Corps Commander Karachi, Sindh Police Inspector-General, the Karachi Police Chief, officers of the Pakistan army, Sindh Rangers, senior police officers and others attended the funeral prayer of the martyred Rangers official.

Body sent to hometown after funeral prayers

After the funeral prayers, the martyr’s body was sent to his native village Shujaabad, Multan, where he will be buried with full military honour.

Sub-Inspector Taimoor Shehzad joined the Pakistan Rangers Sindh through direct entry as head constable seven years ago and performed his professional duty with utmost zeal.

Around 148 officers and personnel of Pakistan Rangers Sindh have laid down their lives in various operations against terrorists, including the Karachi operation, in the last several years.
