RAWALPINDI: The funeral prayers of Lance Naik Tabbasum Ul Haq, 36, Sepoy Naeem Akhtar, 30, Sepoy Abdul Hameed, 23 and Sepoy Farman Ali Shah, 25, who embraced shahadat in two different encounters on 19 October at North and South Waziristan Districts, were offered at their respective hometowns, a military statement said on Friday.
Army media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the martyred military officers were laid to rest with full military honors following the offering of funeral prayers.
Senior serving military officers, relatives of Shuhada and large strength of locals of the area attended the funerals.
The ISPR said these sacrifices strengthen our resolve to stand resolute and committed to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all cost.
