RAWALPINDI: The funeral prayer of Subedar of the Pakistan Army, who embraced martyrdom in Balochistan’s provincial capital earlier today, was offered in Quetta Garrison, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release on Friday.

The military’s media wing, ISPR, stated in the release that Subedar Qaiser Raheem embraced shahadat while fighting bravely in the line of duty with terrorists in Wali Tangi area of Quetta.

Corps commander of Balochistan, a large number of senior military officials, soldiers, and civil officials attended the funeral prayers, ISPR maintained.

He will be laid to rest with full military honours in his native hometown.

It is pertinent to mention here that earlier today in morning, terrorists attacked a security forces’ post near Wali Tangi Quetta.

“During fire exchange, 3 terrorists were sent to hell. Subedar Qaiser Raheem, while fighting valiantly, embraced shahadat in the line of duty, whereas 1 soldier was seriously injured,” said the ISPR in a statement.
