RAWALPINDI: Funeral prayer of Pakistan Army soldier, Sajid Azam, who embraced shahadat on 16 October in general area Asman Manza, South Waziristan district was offered at his native town Nakyal, District Kotli, Azad Kashmir, a military statement said on Thursday.
Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement said Sepoy Sajid Azam Shaheed aged 31 years was laid to rest with full military honour.
Senior serving military officers, relatives and locals of the area attended the funeral.
The statement further said armed Forces of Pakistan stand resolute and committed to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all costs.
