JABALIA: Thousands of Palestinians on Friday attended the funeral prayer of 21 people including children who died in a blaze incident in an apartment building in Gaza. Health officials said that at least 21 people including 7 children were killed in the incident at Jabalia Palestinian refugee camp last night.
21 deceased were buried at Beit Lahia cemetery
The dead bodies shrouded in Palestinian flags were buried at Beit Lahia cemetery. An official told the media that the cause of the incident has not been yet ascertained. A relative of the victim, Mahmoud Abu Raya said that they don’t know what occurred. A senior official said that they have no mechanism to keep large fire at narrow areas and high buildings.
Health official says 21 people dies in the incident
Earlier, media reported that at least 21 people died and several others were wounded in a fire at a building in Jabalia Refugee Camp in the Gaza Strip.
