ISLAMABAD: In a significant international operation, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Interpol has successfully apprehended two of the most wanted criminals in Bahrain. The suspects, identified as Muhammad Majid and Mohammad Sarwar, were allegedly sought by Punjab police for their involvement in heinous crimes.
Muhammad Majid, one of the apprehended individuals, had been wanted in connection with a robbery case dating back to 2018, with a case registered against him at the Kotli police station in Sialkot. The second arrested individual, Mohammad Sarwar, faced charges related to a murder case from 2020, with a case registered against him at the Toba Tek Singh police station.

The operation was conducted by the FIA Interpol in Bahrain, culminating in the arrest of these fugitives. Both suspects had red notices issued by the FIA Interpol for their capture, and after their detention, they were transferred to the relevant local police authorities by FIA Immigration Sialkot for further legal proceedings.
This successful international law enforcement effort underscores the importance of cooperation between countries and the effectiveness of Interpol in tracking down and apprehending individuals wanted for serious crimes.
