SANAA: A fuel shortage on Sunday forced the largest hospital in Yemen’s central Taiz province to halt operations on Sunday.
Al-Thawra General Hospital said in a statement that a fuel crisis has caused all forced the hospital’s sections to close down.
Patients’ lives in hospital at risk
It warned that the precious lives of the patients admitted in the hospital are at risk.
It is to be noted that the hospital is run on fuel from United Nations (UN) and international organizations, in addition to fuel consignments from the local authorities. – AA/APP
