LAHORE: The Punjab government has made four Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) group Additional-inspector Generals (AIGs) police Officers on Special Duty (OSDs).
The OSDs include Additional IG Investigation Ghulam Rasool Zahid, AIG Establishment BA Nasir, AIG South Punjab Ehsan Sadiq, and AIG Welfare Muhammad Farooq Mazhar. Also, the authorities took back the interim charge of AIG Police from BA Nasir.
PSP Mohammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan assumes charge
The newly-appointed IG Punjab, Mohammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan has assumed the charge of his office after IGP Faisal Shahkar relinquished the charge of the post. The Establishment Division also issued a formal notification in this regard.
