MUZAFFARABAD: On Sunday, a car slipped into Neelam River near Pathka Chhun, a neighbourhood of Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir.
The car slipped owing to a severe downpour and plunged into the Neelam river in the middle of the night, according to the officials, as it was travelling from Muzaffarabad to Jheng. As a result, a woman suffered injuries and four family members—a woman, three males, and a woman—died. Their hometown of Jheng received the bodies.
Locals reportedly found the automobile in the river, according to them. The effort was started by locals and rescue workers, who also successfully saved a woman.
According to the police, because it was nighttime, neighbours were unaware of the accident and only learned about it in the morning.
