Four Local Footballers Released from Abductors in Baluchistan

ISLAMABAD: Security forces and local administration with the assistance of local community on Friday managed to release four out of six local footballers being abducted by armed kidnappers a couple of weeks before from Dera Bugti district of Baluchistan.

The local footballers from Dera Bugti football squad were abducted by unknown gunmen on 9 September, when they were traveling to Sibi from Dera Bugti. Soon after the incident the interim Chief Minister Baluchistan Ali Mardan Domki took notice of the incident and had directed the concerned departments and officials official to initiate efforts for the safe release and return of all the players.

Four Footballers Released

According to reliable sources, the security organization with coordination of the local administration managed to release the four players and have been shifted them safely to their houses. The security agencies are also trying to recover and release the other two players.
