RAFAH: Hundreds of wounded individuals from Gaza, as well as foreign nationals, have begun crossing into Egypt, marking a significant development after more than three weeks of intense conflict between Gaza and Israel.
FRANCE 24’s Egypt correspondent, Eduard Cousin, provides insight into the situation, explaining that the individuals arriving in Egypt will subsequently be transferred to Cairo. From there, their respective embassies will step in to provide the necessary support and assistance for their return to their home countries.
This represents a significant step in the ongoing conflict, as it allows for the evacuation of those who have been affected by the devastating war in Gaza. The involvement of embassies and the process of returning individuals to their home countries demonstrates the international dimension of the situation and the efforts being made to ensure the safety and well-being of those affected by the conflict.
