Foreign Economic Aid: $20.073 bn Undisbursed as of End September

ISLAMABAD: Economic Affairs Division (EAD) said on Friday that the foreign economic aid of 20.073 billion dollars was undisbursed balance at the end of September 2022.

The Division, in quarterly statistical data on foreign economic aid, noted that the undisbursed balance was 21.121 billion dollars at the end of June 2022.

From July to September 2022, disbursement was 2.238 billion dollars, including 1.166 billion dollars from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The total disbursement amount included 653.57 million dollars from foreign commercial banks, 13.817 billion dollars from multilateral and 5.602 billion dollars from bilateral.

Moreover, a total of 421.16 million dollars in commitments were made from July to September 2022, including 412.60 million dollars in loans and 8.56 million dollars in grants. Bank of China (BoC) committed 200 million dollars as commercial loans.
