ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday felicitated Qatar for being the first Muslim country to host FIFA World Cup 2022.
Taking to Twitter, he said that Pakistan felt pride to successfully contribute to the security of the mega-event in Qatar. Pakistani workforce had been a big contributor to the facilities’ development.
FM Bilawal Congratulates Qatar
The FIFA World Cup 2022 started in the Gulf country Qatar on Sunday (today) with a grand inauguration ceremony. In the opening match, Qatar’s football team faced off against Ecuador.
FIFA has projected about 5 billion fans expected to turn in. It would make the event the most-watched sports tournament in the world.
