Floral Workshop Attracts Public in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Floral Art Society of Pakistan (Magnolia Chapter) on Thursday arranged a workshop that attracted the guests at a local hotel here in Islamabad.

The main theme of the programme was “Magic With Wire.”

The National President of FASP, Mrs Farida Kalim, gave a demo on the subject. She is an ace floral designer, a great demonstrator and a judge as well. It was an amazing learning experience.

The Floral Art Society of Pakistan (FASP) is a non-profit non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering both national and international goodwill and understanding the art of floral arrangement.

FASP’s primary objective is to organize exhibitions, demonstrations and seminars and workshops to attract the creative use of flowers. The society actively promotes floral art and related activities, enhancing the beauty and creativity within homes and daily lives.

The society is internationally affiliated to WAFA (World Association of Floral Artists), and their members regularly participate in international shows winning awards for the country thereby promoting a softer image of Pakistan.
