KARACHI: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has declared the cancellation of 22 flights to and from Karachi due to adverse weather conditions, disrupting both domestic and international travel. The city encountered mild rainfall, resulting in delays and cancellations.
Noteworthy instances include the postponement of two flights from Dubai and the cancellation of a Sukkur-Karachi flight. Moreover, four flights from Lahore to Karachi and two Islamabad-Karachi flights also experienced cancellations.
Chaos ensued at the airport when a total of 12 flights, comprising both domestic and international departures from Karachi, were abruptly canceled. Simultaneously, 10 incoming flights to Karachi experienced disruptions.
The recent flight operation disturbances have resulted in numerous passengers being stranded at the airport, causing considerable inconvenience.

The Meteorological Department has informed of a slight rainfall, measuring 2 mm in the vicinity of University Road. Presently, Karachi experiences a temperature of 17 degrees Celsius, reaching a minimum of 15 degrees Celsius. The humidity level is at 61%, accompanied by dry winds coming from the northeast at speeds of 3 to 4 km per hour.
