Five Terrorists Killed in Gun Battle with Pakistan’s Security Forces in Zhob: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: At least five terrorists were killed during an intense exchange of fire with Pakistan’s security forces in southwestern Balochistan province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.

In a statement, the military’s media wing said that during the intense exchange of fire, Major Syed Ali Raza, 31, who was leading the operation from the front, and soldier Nisar Ahmed embraced martyrdom during the gun battle with terrorists.

According to ISPR, on night 8/9 October 2023, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Sambaza area of Zhob district of Balochistan, on reported presence of terrorists. “During the conduct of the operation, terrorists were surrounded and after intense exchange of fire, five terrorists were sent to hell,” ISPR added.

“However, in ensuing exchange of fire, Major Syed Ali Raza Shah (Age 31 years, resident of Sargodha District), who was leading the operation from the front, and Havaldar Nisar Ahmed (Age 38 years, resident of Vehari District), having fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced martyrdom,” ISPR said.

Pakistan’s Security Forces Committed to Uproot Terrorism

Pakistan’s security forces are indebted and proud of their brave men and pay homage to their chivalry and sacrifices for the motherland, which further strengthens the forces resolve to uproot the menace of terrorism from the country, ISPR maintained.

Sanitization of the surrounding areas is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
