Five People Killed over Land Dispute in Pakistan’s Nowshera District

ISLAMABAD: At least five people were killed over a land dispute in the Nowshera district of Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to Nowshera District Police Officer Umar Khan, the incident took place in the Tangi Khattak area of Nowshera where two parties exchanged fire over a dispute, claiming the lives of five people.

The DPO said that the rescue team shifted the bodies to the DHQ hospital. The police cordoned off the area and started the search for the fleeing accused.

The police officer said that raids were under way to arrest the unidentified assailants who escaped the scene after killing five persons of the rival group.
