ABBOTTABAD: In a heart-wrenching incident, five members of a family suffocated to death here Tuesday night.
Among the deceased were a mother and her four children, who tragically succumbed to gas inhaling within their home.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the family was using a gas heater in their room, which unfortunately became the source of their killing. The fumes, as carbon monoxide, filled the enclosed space, leading to the fatal incident.
The lone survivor of the incident is the father, who also fell unconscious due to gas inhaling but managed to revive. He is currently receiving medical treatment and is expected to be able to provide further details about the incident soon.
